Made possible by the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Southeast Division, Rekerdres & Sons Insurance Agency, Inc. nominated the ECOM Foundation as the recipient of the IICF Southeast Grant for a total of $5,000.

IICF primarily focus on disaster relief and prevention, at-risk children and families, and veterans within each division’s local communities. According to Sarah Conway, the Executive Director of the Southeast Division, The ECOM Foundation stood out to the grants committee “for their tremendous impact on education and the unique population they serve. IICF Southeast is focused on at risk youth and providing funding to change the life of each child we can,” so naturally the Foundation was the perfect choice.
Reksons is happy to work with IICF to support the ECOM Foundation, which has actively worked for improved living, health, and education environments for the producers of coffee, cotton, and cocoa and their families since 2006. The successful nomination recognizes ECOM’s own notable efforts to aid the communities it works with with the goal of facilitating permanent change.
