It's Career day at OLMA!
Melissa Callanta-Rechner and Daniel Domingo took the career day at OLMA, Park Ridge, USA as an opportunity to share what is behind a chocolate treat. Melissa and Dan, who is an alumni at OLMA, gave a presentation explaining what a career as a cocoa trader entails!
A special thank you to Dan for organizing cocoa pods and other cocoa product samples. The middle school kids enjoyed the presentation and the chocolate samples - a courtesy of Barry - and many even tried the fresh cocoa seed with pulp.
"My son said the kids liked our presentation the best (thanks to the ECOM media library). I think the chocolate did the trick" says Melissa, "We hope we inspired the next generation of cocoa professionals".
