Connect One ECOM: Progress Update

Within the Connect One ECOM initiative, we are steadily advancing on multiple fronts regarding the iRely CTRM implementation. Of paramount importance is the agreement on the project timeline, enabling all involved teams (ECOM IT, ECOM India, GPOs, BSCX, and iRely) to effectively prioritize their tasks in order to achieve the desired implementation within the established deadline of October 2024.

Multiple work streams take place in this project, and it's imperative that all stakeholders seeking information stay well-informed. Please review the details below:

Technical Work streams: Focuses on software, infrastructure setup, connectivity or engineering design.

Functional Work streams: Ensures that each functional (business) area aligns with the project objectives and contributes to its overall success.

Stakeholder Work streams: This work stream focuses on understanding and addressing the needs and expectations of various stakeholders, such as clients, customers, suppliers, or regulatory bodies.

Geographical Work streams: It addresses the specific requirements and considerations related to different geographical locations involved in the project.

The upcoming next steps in the project are:

Show & Tell Sessions: As a recap, during the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) phase, the Global Process Owners (GPOs) and the iRely team diligently dedicated time to explore business and operational concepts that would enhance ECOM's overall processes.

These concepts were formalized into Statements of Work (SOWs). Upon approval of the SOWs, the iRely team shifted their focus to tailoring their system to meet ECOM's specific requirements. The Show & Tell sessions provide live demonstrations of the iRely system and its functionality, tailored to the specific requests from ECOM. During these sessions, the Global Process Owners (GPOs) and appointed Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will have the opportunity to validate that the iRely system has been customized according to their requirements.

Furthermore, the Business Solutions and Customer Experience (BSCX) team is concurrently addressing various aspects including testing scenarios, user roles, printable forms, and collaborating with the ECOM IT team and iRely on the evaluation of the interconnectivity among ECOM's systems such as CTRM, Finance, Treasury, and more.
