Together Towards Tomorrow in El Salvador

Introducing our Together Towards Tomorrow (TTT) initiative, a transformative project focused on providing educational and technological resources to students in El Salvador. Launched by our Salvadoran subsidiary Cafetalera Del Pacifico, in partnership with USAID, this initiative embodies our commitment to building an economically viable, environmentally conscious, and educationally responsible chain.

Some key achievements of TTT:

  • • Conversion of 3 classrooms into virtual learning centers (VLCs) across 3 cities in El Salvador, including technological refurbishments
  • • Installation of 121 computers and 3 servers, in addition to acrylic whiteboards and projectors
  • • Procurement of 115 robotics kits to support foundational robotics education
  • 1,511 students guided on accessing Tec de Monterrey of Mexico’s (TEC’s) extensive self-learning course platform, with 5 courses completed per student
  • 304 students completed a course on climate change risk
  • •  Training for 71 teachers, 6 principals, & 4 facilitators on the TEC platform
  • 6 principals & 4 facilitators completed training on the VLC platform administration and use

We are proud of the hard work our teams continue to carry out to improve the education and resources of children in El Salvador. We remain committed to supporting the communities in our coffee origins.
