ECOM is committed to conducting business in an ethical, legal, environmentally, and socially responsible manner. As a business, we always operate with honesty and integrity and strive to have good corporate governance that builds trust and engagement with our stakeholders.

To this end, we have the following policies and codes that build a framework for our corporate responsibility.

Supplier Code of Conduct

ECOM works continuously to improve the sustainability of its operations as demonstrated by its Sustainable Management Code and its Supplier Code of Conduct. We expect our suppliers to share our commitment to doing business in a responsible, sustainable, and ethical manner as set out in our Supplier Code of Conduct.

Modern Slavery Statement and Policy

ECOM continuously works with their business partners and clients around the world to eliminate modern slavery or human trafficking from our supply chains. ECOM’s Modern Slavery Statement sets out the policies and processes in place to tackle modern slavery and human trafficking.

ECOM Code of Conduct

ECOM is committed to conducting its business in an ethical, legal, environmentally and socially responsible manner. The following is our Code of Conduct (the “ECOM Code”) which we expect our employees, agents and representatives to act in accordance with to further ECOM’s business.

Supply Chain Due Diligence Policy

ECOM is committed to protecting human rights and the environment across our operations. The Supply Chain Due Diligence policy outlines our approach to identifying and act upon preventing adverse human rights and environmental impacts.

Environmental Policy

ECOM is committed to improve our environmental performance wherever possible. At a minimum, ECOM complies with all local regulatory guidelines and requirements, but in most cases, it is expected that our practices will exceed such requirements.

Social Policy

This policy lays out ECOM’s practices in regards to social principles within ECOM’s supply chain, stakeholders and our own staff. We recognize that the economic and social well-being of our suppliers is fundamental to the sustainability and integrity of our business.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy

ECOM strives to build a culture that values meritocracy, openness, fairness, and transparency. We are committed to the elimination of unlawful and unfair discrimination and we value the differences that a diverse workforce brings.

Speak Up policy

ECOM is conducting business with honesty and integrity, and we expect all staff, customers and suppliers to maintain high standards. This policy exists for any third party to raise awareness of any suspected wrongdoing.

This platform was designed for anyone who wishes to report misconduct anonymously. It was designed for this person to feel safe while doing so. 

United Nations Global Compact

As a participant of the UN Global Compact, ECOM is committed to making the UN Global Compact and its principles part of the strategy, culture and day-to-day operations of our company, and to engage in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals. 

We support the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and will annually disclose our company’s continuous efforts to integrate the Ten Principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations through the UN Global Compact Communication on Progress.
